The reason for developing OralTonin-L:
OralTonin-L was developed to fill the void in dentistry that exists in using natural conservative therapies to help in the control of gum disease. Often I see patients that require surgery to correct their gum disease. Some patients would rather try more conservative natural options to treat these problems. OralTonin-L is one treatment modality that can be added to a conservative approach in controlling gum disease and bad breath. The development of OralTonin-L was centered on historical and clinical research. I set out to find ingredients that had shown effectiveness against bad breathe and gum disease by doing a literature search of clinical studies. What I found was that many herbs, compounds, and essential oils had been tested and shown to be effective against gum disease and bad breathe. (See end notes) Despite the research that has been performed, no one has really pulled these ingredients together into one product. OralTonin-L addresses this problem. Along with regular visits to your dentist this product is an excellent adjunct to any conservative therapy for gum disease and bad breath.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Can I use OralTonin-L even if I don’t have gum disease?
Answer: Yes, Oraltonin-L was developed not only to be used as an adjunctive conservative therapy, but also a daily hygiene aid for patients that want to have a more physiologically balanced oral cavity. By promoting a physiologically balanced mouth it eliminates bad breath not just masking bad odor like other products.
Question: How does OralTonin-L fight gum disease and bad breathe?
Answer: OralTonin-L works by creating a favorable environment for the “good bacteria” in the mouth. Powerful antioxidants, herbs, and essential oils help to relieve and prevent inflammation and promote healing. As the environment in the mouth becomes more physiologically balanced, the bad bacteria are reduced in the mouth, inflammation is reduced, and the bad odor that is associated with these bacteria is eliminated.
Question: Does OralTonin-L contain alcohol?
Answer: No. OralTonin-L does not contain alcohol. Because OralTonin-L is alcohol free, it does not temporarily mask bad breath like other products. It eliminates bad breath the healthy way by treating the source of the odor and promoting physiological balance in the mouth. Alcohol containing products over dry the mouth and create an environment that deprives the mouth of the protective function of saliva. As the mouth becomes dried out from the alcohol, the pH drops to an unhealthy level thus promoting the bad bacteria that can cause dental disease.
Question: When I am on a diet I get bad breath. Can OralTonin-L help?
Answer: Yes. When we are on a calorie restricted diet along with diet supplements, many times our mouth becomes dry which can change the pH in our mouth and create the conditions that lead to bad breath. Using a traditional mouthwash only makes the problem worse. Regular use of OralTonin-L during dieting can help limit the bad breath problem of dieting by helping to keep the mouth in a healthy physiologic balance.
Question: I take medications that dry my mouth should I be using OralTonin-L?
Answer: Yes. OralTonin-L can help relieve the side effects caused by over 400 medications that have been identified as having the side effect of causing dryness of the mouth. If you are taking medication such as: antihistamines, antidepressants, decongestants, pain killers and diuretics, you may suffer from dry mouth as a result of taking it. If you use a traditional mouthwash to treat your dry mouth and bad breath you are only making the problem worse. OralTonin-L may help alleviate the bad breath and dental decay that results from dry mouth.
Question: Will OralTonin-L reduce my chance of getting cavities?
Answer: Yes. OralTonin-L contains xylitol which has been clinically proven to help fight decay by reducing the formation of dental plaque and may assist in the repairing of cavities.
Question: Will OralTonin-L help whiten my teeth?
Answer: Yes, the ingredient xylitol has a whitening effect on teeth.
Question: Are the ingredients in OralTonin-L safe?
Answer: Yes. OralTonin-L is safe. The ingredients in OralTonin-L have been tested in many clinical studies.
Question: Why does OralTonin-L cost more than other mouth rinses?
Answer: When OralTonin-L was developed, we decided to not be limited by cost like other mouth rinses. OralTonin-L contains many ingredients, many more than other mouth rinses. Each ingredient was carefully selected based on clinical studies so that the most beneficial results could be achieved. Because OralTonin-L was developed around scientific research it is not just a mouth rinse but part of a conservative therapy program.
Question: Can OralTonin-L help with smoker’s breath?
Answer: Yes. Smoking as we know is a terrible habit that wrecks havoc on the oral tissues. That said it is always better to quit smoking. OralTonin-L contains the powerful antioxidants green tea extract and CoQ10 along with the special blend of essential oils that can help start the healing process needed after smoking to help remove the conditions that cause bad breath.
Question: What else can I do to treat my gum disease?
Answer: Regular visits to your dentist are very important to keep your teeth clean, so that OralTonin-L can have the most benefit. OralTonin-L is intended to be a treatment modality used in the conservative non-surgical treatment of gum disease. Home care is very important. That includes spending time each day to brush and floss your teeth. A Sonicare toothbrush is very good to help clean your teeth. Also, it is important to repair or replace any failing dental work in your mouth as it can harbor bacteria that are difficult to reach and remove with homecare. Check back on OralGenix.com for other conservative treatment aids that we are currently developing and that will be available soon.
